hi guys, sorry about the first 2 shows. im as useless as a slug right now, ive had a rotten cold since i got home earlier this week and was hoping it wouldnt make its way onto my chest. but unfortunately it has and its leaving me breathless and i cant hold any of my notes when i sing. and i dont sound like myself either, because im all bunged up and croaky. id rather not do a show, then not do a good one for you. i have all day today, tomorrow and tuesday to get better without having to sing or really do anything so fingers crossed ill be better. love you as always, adele xx

Hello!
Just got home, so tired. Got a day off then straight back into all. I’m doing Jonathan Ross’ new show this week and also kicking off another run of shows in the UK! The US tour and the VMAS all went wonderfully and I had a lot of fun. Thank you for all coming to the rescheduled shows, I hope you enjoyed yourselves as much as I did!
I’m going to be projecting photographs in between sets at the UK shows, some of me and my friends but I’d also like to show your photos as well. Fun photos! Fan photos! Whatever you want. If your coming to one of the shows, email us your photo, in a jpeg format, with the city and the date of the show you’re going to in the subject line and I’ll make sure its shown at that specific show. not many people have it in them to do something they love, simply because they love it. with no fuss and no compromise. but she knew what she was capable of and didn’t even need to try. if she wanted to do something she would and if she didn’t she’d say fuck off. it came easy to her and that’s why we all loved her so much. we believed every word she wrote, and it would sink in deep when she sang them. Amy paved the way for artists like me and made people excited about british music again whilst being fearlessly hilarious and blase about the whole thing. i don’t think she ever realised just how brilliant she was and how important she is, but that just makes her even more charming. although im incredibly sad about Amy passing im also reminded of how immensely proud of her i am as well. and grateful to be inspired by her. Amy flies in paradise xx

Flabbergasted about the VMA nominations!! Thank you thank you MTV! I’m thinking about releasing a range of chairs to celebrate! I cant wait to see everyones performances, if there anything like the last couple years its gonna be so exciting. Huge props to Sam Brown the director of Rolling in the Deep! X

im unbelievable chuffed to be nominated for the mercury. thank you so so much, totally unexpected i found out yesterday on my way home from paris. congratulations to all the other nominees too. and i’d like to add my own nod to wild beasts as well. see you there xx
