That doesn't make sense because in this month's rollingstone they say it's completely up to her what she wants to do and her voice is just fine. lol Obviously a world tour would cause problems but it's whatever she wants to do and I am fine with that.

It gas been widely speculated that She's playing Phillip green's birthday party... Lucky bastard. It got me wondering how much it would cost to have delly at your party?! Some other artists are (apparently): 1m for dj set from mark ronson, a few million for beyonce... He can afford all these but I somehow don't see her charging such high rates! What do you guys think?

Well last July she would have played at Chris Moyles' barbeque party for free! At least that's what she said when they were on air...;) I guess they know each other, though, so it's probably not quite the same:P

In-awe, why do you imagine her not charging a million dollars for a private party if that's the going rate for a superstar performance? She's a professional with what must now be very high overhead--lots of security people to pay, family to support, etc.--and a single private performance would be such an easy way to make money.

I wasn't meaning to be very naive but the "people to pay" as it were, didn't cross my mind!Having taken that into consideration maybe it isn't so outrageous, I guess I was thinking more that she doesn't seem to see herself like beyonce although she definately is so maybe because she is so down to earth she wouldn't charge so much? Dunno, I was just wondering what people would imagine it to be rather than taking into consideration all the logistics!

It's true that she has hired a female bodyguard. The Daily Mail have Adele and her shopping in Tesco. They say it's her bodyguard, it could be false, but it was the only person with her.

I feel like we should all wait for her in Tesco! lol. It's great to see how normal she still is.

I think it was not her bodyguard, but her driver.
