Just smart move of Gaga giving her fans a name and make them feel like they are the most important thing in her life. It's just smart campagne! Gaga wants to sell albums and wants to be famous, she and her team thought this all trough. I do think she's a good person though! But in a couple of years everyone gets tired of it and she will disappear. Adele writes songs for herself, not to make hits. Her fanbase will grow only more from generation to generation because Adele's music is timeless! She's a legend and we are witnessing it!!!! YEAH! Adele sold a lot of albums with a little promotion because of her illness. Over a 100 years people still know who Adele is!!!

Gaga's fans are only teenagers. At that age, they are so vulnerable and so controllable, so Gaga doesnt have to do much to win them over. I do like her, she's a good singer and songwriter (not an exceptional one, tho) , but she really knows how to sell herself. I like the message she's transmitting, with "born this way", but I actually find this exactly the reason why her little monsters are killing themselves. I saw a video on youtube with Gaga and she was crying and she was saying "how great are my little monsters", and seriously, it seemed so fake, that I felt like puking. I kinda changed my opinion about her after that.

Her albums are not classic, they will not last in time.
I find it hilarious, and I'm making an evil laugh right now, because Adele's sales of 21 are huge, crazy huge, way bigger than the ones for "Born this way", and Adele had so little promotion and Gaga instead had a huge promotion. Wonder how Gaga feels about this.

besides, Adele has followers- people who don't just belt out the lyrics and do the gimmicks but actually act on the inspiration Adele gives them. Us. Them. We..... you know what I meant.

I agree, people have just been trying to get part of Adele's spotlight by bashing her with ignorant statements and rumors. People like that deserve no attention in my opinion, but sometimes it gets to the point to where you have to defend the people you love.

Honestly, I haven't read the article. I already know what it will be geared towards. As I've said in a previous thread I understand very much the need to "defend" Adele because we just feel she's a part of our family, of us. But i choose to ignore all that nonsense. YW, forget those little monsters. They will talk about Adele, let the envy speak!
