My guess is that it was sent early because we cannot contact Adele directly (maybe YW can, but not the rest of us mere mortals) and the card had to go through her management company where someone would have been tasked to read through it to make sure it was suitable enough to pass on the her. Hopefully, those few extra days were long enough for that person to read through it, determine it was harmless and forward along for the actual birthday date.
