I've been downloading music for along time, majority of it has not been worth spending money on.

I even have some of adele's songs in mp3 obtained from obscure sources.

Unfortunatly in the world of corporate cookie cutter music, The quality of music that has been coming out in the last 5 just doesn't warrent the attention it expects.

With quick, high charting, money making, gone the next day style of music released lately, I don't see much of it becoming modern day classic hits.

Adele, on the other hand, is different. The quality, honestness and feel of her music, Is deffinetly one that, even if she failed to make another album, ever again, would be heard on radio's over the world for years to come.

I would not have discovered how good, had I not first heard her songs, on some dodgy low bitrate mp3.

In saying that, I have actually purchased, legally, the 21 album on vinyl. This would not have been the case had I not sampled the music prior. Thankyou Adele.

heard her song on the radio, really liked, downloaded entire album, decided it was epic and i went out the next day and bought it :D also bought 19 and Live At Royal Albert

Glad I wasn't the only one, I didn't follow music from past the 80s so until the 2012 Grammy's I hadn't even heard any of her songs, guess that's hard to believe. There was so much excitement about her six wins and comeback performance, I finally decided to listen to the performance on youtube and was instantly hooked. I listened to 19, 21 and Live at the Royal Albert Hall next and liked them so much I went to Wal-Mart the next day and bought all three. I'm kind of old fashioned about music and movies, even if I can watch them for free on the internet, I still want to buy my own copy if I really like it. It's refreshing to finally see a talented singer after all the grunge, boy bands and rap that we had to put up with since the 90s.

voltare1 said it nicely. What I love about Adele's music is the variety and combination of genres she uses to write with. She does it so well, no wonder she has a wide age group for fans. I hope she wins every Novella award she's nominated for.
