LOS ANGELES, CALIFORNIA- Lady GaGa said today she thinks there’s something very fishy about Adele, the British pop superstar who many music industry insiders have deemed as “the voice.”
“I think Adele isn’t human,” said Lady GaGa during an interview with Inothernewz.com. “It’s like her voice is too good, kind of like she’s a robot or something. I bet she’s a singing cyborg.”
Adele, who burst out onto the music scene in 2008 with her debut album, 19, has garnered the attention and accolades of millions of fans worldwide, making her one of, if not the most, popular singers in the world. This, in turn, has drawn the ire of Lady GaGa, who is considered to be the modern day Madonna.
“I don’t like that Adele gets all this attention just because she sings well,” said GaGa. “Have you even been to one of my shows? I’m an excellent singer in my own right and I put on some great dance moves. My choreography is second to none. Does Adele dance? Nope!” Inothernewz.com reached out to Adele and her business manager for comment but we were unable to get any reaction to GaGa’s claim that she’s a singing robot.
GaGa, nonetheless, continued with her assessment of the 23 year-old Someone Like You crooner.
“I think everyone believes she’s a great singer because she can belt out the high notes better than anyone else,” said GaGa. “That’s because she’s a big girl and her diaphragm can support those tough notes. Either that or she has a mechanical voice. I think if we dissect her vocal cords, the world will find out the truth. She’s not human.”
Inothernewz.com asked Lady GaGa if she was jealous of Adele’s huge success following the release of her most recent album, 21.
“Jealous? No, of course not,” said GaGa, smiling. “I just want to club the b**** over the head with a sledgehammer but I’m definitely not jealous. I have my own amazing career and my little monsters who support me worldwide. Does Adele have little monsters backing her? No, she doesn’t, does she?”
Lady GaGa concluded the interview by emphatically stating that she’s way better than Adele in every respect and that her little monsters will eat Adele for lunch if Adele continues to garner success in the music world.
