Does anyone know if Adele will be in attendence at the Billboard music awards in Las Vegas on May 20th?

Just heard from ShadesofBlack this morning that Robin Leach made the ridiculous comment that she will not be attending the Billboard awards because she is in hiding overcome from her success, etc. Something to that effect. It was total bullshit whatever he said, but the bottom line is, we are VERY doubtful that she will show and are 99.9% sure that if she does show, she will NOT perform. The show will be a giant letdown for all of us. "Accepting on behalf of Adele..." 18 times!! Argh! Plus, apparently K Perry is singing ANOTHER new song live on the show. Oh ABC, why have you foresaken me???

Beside that, there's the Ivor Novello awards on May 17th! They are placed in London! She has 4 nominations, she has to go!

My money's on her showing for the Ivor Novello awards. I think she'd find a song-composing award more meaningful right now than a few more armfuls of chart-based awards like the BBs. Also, it's in London.

I think you're right. The downside of this is that these awards are not shown on TV or something, so we wont see her. Oh, well...
