"Sings like an angel, laughs like a demon"
-I'd seen that on You Tube somewhere. I thought that was funny.
Beyonce: You're amazing! When I listen to you I feel like I'm listening to God.
Adam Levine (Maroon 5): She’s ridiculous, she’s so good.
Lady Gaga: I'm so excited for Adele. She's doing so well all over the world and it's wonderful to see the world embrace her. She's beaten some of my chart records but I'm happy for her. I love seeing women succeed and she's so talented.
Ben Drew (Plan B): Tell Adele I want to marry her. If she says ‘ye’s we will have a wedding.
Joe Jonas(Jonas Brothers): I think Adele is fantastic and I'm not just trying to jump on that bandwagon. I think she's a great artist so I'd love to work with someone like her.
Mark Foster(Foster the people): Set me up on a date! She's so talented. I find her very attractive.
Mark Pontius (Foster the people): She's actually very sexy. There is something very attractive about her.
Steve Angello (Swedish House Mafia): It's one of those songs. She's an amazing artist and she has a very strong voice and obviously she means what she was singing. If you think about it, most artists out there, they get a record and they just go in there and record it — they don't know what it's about. They don't give a sh**. But Adele, she means it. She's the real f***ing deal, and you can tell.
Sinead O'Connor: I am very touched that she cried over "Troy" and also that she knows that singing is not about the notes but the emotions. I am really delighted as I love her equally very much. She is wicked, wicked wicked, bad, bad, bad!
Patti Smith: That ‘Rolling in the Deep’ song, I must have listened to that a thousand times. I’ve been on tour and I got really sick. I had bronchitis, but to rev myself up I listen to Adele's ‘Rolling in the Deep.’ I would just play that and feel stronger. I just love her. She’s got a very touching yet mature delivery. I love her voice, and that is just a killer song. I'm going to get my band to cover it. I have to sing it in a lower range. She’s so young, too. I’d love to meet her ... and tell her to stop smoking cigarettes.
Lily Allen: So happy for Adele, So good when good things happen to nice people. CONGRATULATIONS ADELE on being No1EVERY xxxxxx WHERE!
Mark Ronson: It's great for the music industry that it happened. And I love Adele as a friend, I think she's f**king amazing.
Nicole Scherzinger:I’m one of Adele’s biggest fans. When I grow up I want to be this lady.
Jamie Lee Curtis: Adele's sophomore album 21, the #1 album in America, has brought me around. I remember hearing Tapestry and thinking that Carole King was singing to me, that she related to only me. I feel that way about Adele's musical masterpiece. Every song sings to me, and obviously countless others…I am quite stunned by her maturity being only in her early twenties, but age notwithstanding, the human connections she sings about resonates and challenges me and I hope you.
Matthew Morrison (Glee): I love Adele. 'Turning Tables' is one of my favourite songs right now. I don't know if she's an actress but I'd love to hear her music on 'Glee'. It would be my extreme honour to work with her. I think her voice is from another planet. She's so amazing.
Roy Stride (Scouting for girls):People are too savvy to bulls**t these days, so great, honest records from Adele, Mumford & Sons and Noah and the Whale are what are doing well. Adele is absolutely incredible.
Mel C: There is a pop sensibility in her melodies and lyrically you can hear that and if we inspired her in any way then I know myself and all the other Spice girls are very proud.
Daniel Merriweather: I did a song with Adele for my album, a duet and that was amazing. She is such a sweet-heart and she has one of the most beautiful voices I've ever heard. I've known her for a couple of years and I had this song and just thought how amazing it would be if she could sing it with me. She is just lovely to work with. So that was amazing.
Tyler the Creator:If I lose to any of those wackass videos, I'm gonna be mad because they all suck — except for Adele's.
Nicki Minaj: There are loads of UK artists I'd like to work with. I think Adele is dope, I'm a really big fan of hers
Prince: When she just comes on and sings with a piano player, no gimmicks, it's great.
Kelly Clarkson:I love coming to the UK and picking up new music. I hope to do something with Adele. I love her voice so much, she’s just incredible.
Rick Rubin: She bares her soul in her songwriting, and it's the real thing...She uses her vocal instrument in a way that we don't get to hear a lot. What she is doing, it's a very pure expression of herself and it resonates with people. There is no trickery involved. It's a really honest album.
Adam Lambert: That Adele, “Someone like You” song, it cuts me right to the core. It’s so vulnerable and that’s the type of stuff that’s really inspiring right now. You know I love modern, electronic pop rock production, but at the heart of it I think the song needs to hit you in the heart.
Ryan Tedder: "Adele is the single greatest female singer alive, period. I've worked with a lot of people. I've never, ever, ever seen or witnessed a singer do what she does in the recording studio."

21' is dominated by Adele's reflections on a recently shipwrecked relationship. And while we wish her future happiness we selfishly dread the day she has to write happy family songs, or fake the heartbreak. She's just so very good at why-don't-you-love-me-well-screw-you-dickhead type songs.
