Sinead O'Connor: I am very touched that she cried over "Troy" and also that she knows that singing is not about the notes but the emotions. I am really delighted as I love her equally very much. She is wicked, wicked wicked, bad, bad, bad!

That's a really nice one! It kind of reminded me of a couple I read awhile ago by Fraser T. Smith:
-“I could lie and say that we had a master plan with this (Set Fire to the Rain), but the truth is that she’s able to perfectly capture that raw emotion in a way that’s both relatable and original.”
-“She sets the bar incredibly high when it comes to lyrics, so we went backwards and forwards until each line felt as good as it could. She drove most of the words, and I’m still struck by how she can deliver lines which are pretty simple yet contain such amazing imagery.”

21' is dominated by Adele's reflections on a recently shipwrecked relationship. And while we wish her future happiness we selfishly dread the day she has to write happy family songs, or fake the heartbreak. She's just so very good at why-don't-you-love-me-well-screw-you-dickhead type songs.
