I've been lacking in making this post/doc. Emotions have been high and I’ve been in a haze. I was also hesitant because I've been given way too much praise and credit for an idea that popped into my head at 3am. Clearly higher powers were at work here. I was just the messenger. Also, the end is bittersweet.
WE have saved at least 25,500 lives to date. I am in awe of our accomplishment and so happy to think of those lives that have been changed forever by your selfless acts.
As for the success it turned into, that credit belongs to everyone who participated either by donating or sharing it with others. Some special daydreamers need to be recognized by one and all.
I would like to give a shout out to a few who’s support, encouragement, hard work and dedication made this happen and kept it going.
First to Alina who has been there since day 1! Her encouragement, "go ahead, share your idea with the group", to a shy rookie daydreamer got this all started. Her continued support and encouragement helped to keep it going. Thanks for always putting things into perspective. Don't know how you do that at your young age. I couldn't and wouldn't have started this without you. Thank you for your friendship. And thank you for your videos (with translations) which were seen a total of over 3,600 times.
Michael your suggestion for our own web page changed the course of this project. Without that suggestion this would have just been a quiet little project with a couple hundred pounds raised. Look at it now!
Nati, your tireless efforts over the span of 3days designing the VMG page and setting up the original twitter account was the next necessary event to get the ball rolling. Thank you so much. Also, thanks to Kelly for the editing. Good eye you have there.
To Michael and Attie, thanks for the emails to celebs. That wasn't easy, as we found out.
Rachel, what can I say? You took over the twitter team when Nati and I got busy. You organized the team, tweeted tirelessly and creatively, collected followers and spread the word almost 24/7. Your contribution will never be fully realized. Wait, yes it is 25,500 lives saved!
Galit, the cupcakes were a stroke of genius and extremely generous. Thanks to you a lot of daydreamers have a memento to remember this awesome journey. Also, your blog, twitter co-captain and tweeting dedication is greatly appreciated.
The twitter/posting team: There are so many of you I hope I don't leave anyone out. Susan and Christina (the twitter stars), Amy, Ellie, Nele, Tamires, Erin, Christina, Sandrine, Alina, Galit, Lorie, Nati, Rachelle, Maria, Tom, Jamie, Kelly, and RosMi. Your participation in this reached thousands of daydreamers and a few important celebs. WoopWoop!
Translators Charimar, Luz, Fernanda, Anup Monica, Erin, Daehwan, and Maria. You spread this project around the world resulting in numerous donations.
Jamie, the founder of this great fb family, thank you for that and for @Daydreamers21 RTs.
Marina, your stroke of genius in naming us will go down in history. Perfection!
To Simon for starting this wonderful humanitarian charity and catching the eye and winning the love of our goddess.
To drop4drop, especially Sam, and VMG, thank you for all of your support and assistance.
Thanks to the forum members for participating and especially for keeping this secret for so long. WOW!
For everyone else who participated, "thank you" doesn't quite express our gratitude.
And last, but certainly not least, is the birthday girl. She showed us in 10,000 ways what a generous loving woman she is. Adele, you'll never see this but you are truly an inspiration.
I know we will all carry this journey with us for the rest of our lives. For me, that means literally as I have #21wells tattooed right under "daydreamer". Every time I look at it I will remember you, I will remember this journey, and I will remember us, the daydreamers.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart and the depths of my soul. This is the GREATEST team and family I have ever been a part of. Daydreamer PROUD and LOUD!!!!!
P.S. IT AIN’T OVER!!!! We are in the process of teaming with drop4drop as a life-time official charity of the Official Daydreamers. More details soon. :)

. I am so happy to be a little part of it and I am so proud to be a Daydreamer :-). I mentioned it in an other thread before: even if we only met us in this forum and not personally it still feels so familiar. I love you guys. You are all incredible.
