Missing: Matt Lauer's Personality.

This is a place to talk about everything Adele.

The problem with the interview is that it did nothing to reveal who she is and how she made it through the struggles and the triumph of the past year. You can tell there wasn't substance, in part, by the lack of sales increase. The interview was missing moments where you were like, "Awwwwww!" No tears, no laughter. It could have been Beyonce or any other classy singer who doesn't reveal much of her personality sitting in that chair. Very guarded. To bring her out is the interviewers job. Can you imagine Barbara Walters settling for that piss poor interview? Hell no.
So to me the interview was lukewarm at best. And this has nothing to do with the fact that no new information was revealed. That's a whole different complaint!

Well, I guess Adele is to blame for choosing such a poor interviewer. ;) I can't imagine any journalist today would say no to a proposal to interviewing Adele.

I might have heard this one actually, but can't remember exactly.

Well, I wouldn't want to put this on you, but if you come across it let me/us know. :) I'm myself watching this and that as much as time allows. Perhaps I will come accross it some time.

I'm sorta thinking that a lot was cut in the editing as has already been said, maybe if they gave us the outtakes or funnies like they did with the 60 mins interview we would be happier.
