I was wondering if anyone knew when and where Adele gave her first full-length concert and if any video is available on youtube or other sites.

What would you consider a "full-lenght concert", that it the question. ;)

But seriously speaking, I do not know the answer to your question. I can however give some clues based on what I've read and heard.

Adele had a tour in 2006, but at that time she had 3, 4, max 5 songs. That won't be a full-lenght concert, would it? I suspect she could be a supporting act at that time. I know that she mention on her MySpace blog her first tour when she wasn't a supporting act, but unfortunately I have no date and now the old posts from her blog are no longer accessible. Anybody has them? Someone posted shots of her blog some weeks/months ago, but I don't remember how far back they went. You might find the thread with the shots here if you search back.

In 2007 Adele wrote and recorded 19 (april-june). Then in October she had a tour of UK with "19" songs before the record got released. The only recorded videos from her gigs at that time that I know about are 9 songs she performed in Birmingham which are posted on YouTube. You can search for Adele+Birmingham+Glee Club. Recordings are from 2007-10-15.

Recordings before that date are just a song or two. The ones I've seen anyway.

I hope someone here has more info and will share. I'm trying to track down her musical history, but it's very time consuming, so it goes step by step and will probably take ages.

Yes, these are these! But they do not go back enough in time to check out Adele's first full-scale concert. That means I must have come accross the statement about her first concert as main act somewhere else.

Thank you LouieArmstrong for the videos. I hope you don't mind that I post some comments.

1. Live at the Great Escape. This is recording from 2007-05-17. I do not know how many songs she was singing there and if one could call it a full-scale concert. We have recordings of Best For Last and HG. She was also doing backing vocals for Jack Penate's My Yvonne. I do not know more that this point.

2. The second recording is from 2007-09-19, and that was in fact almost a month before the recordings from Birmingham. If I'm not mistaken it has been sold on iTunes as Adele Live at Soho, or something like this. From iTunes site it seems that it was set of 8 songs.

3. I'm 95% sure that the third video has wrong date, and that it's in fact from 29th of January 2008 (not 2007) (video was upploaded on 30th of January 2008). In January 2007 Adele was still a supporting act, for example singing on 31st of January at the Lancaster Library as an opening act for Mr Hudson & The Library (Painting Pictures from the Lancaster Library are on YT). Lancaster Library was on 2007-01-31. On the video posted by Louie Adele is clearly the main act, and already supported by strings. Besides, Bloombury Theatre has capacity of over 500, and I don't think she could fill up such a venue in the beginning of 2007 with set of just a few songs. Remember that January 2007 would be before good part of 19 was written.

I would suspect that so far recording from Soho is closest to be her "full-scale" concert. A short one, but still.

Don't mind at all Georgina.
According to Adelevideos her first gig was at her 18 B-day party in may 2006.
She sold tickets to cover the costs of the venue. Mostly friends came to see her.
To bad there aren't any pics or vids of it.
Must been hell of a party.
Her first UK tour was in 2007 and her North America tour was in 2008.

Thanks, it's nice to know. :) But I do not believe there are no pictures and no videos. Come on, it was her 18th birthday and her first gig! There must be some, but perhaps they've never been made public.

Actually I've seen the blog here, not on MySpace. The very first blog is from 2007-10-23 and it starts:

Unfortunately, we do not have access to the full text, perhaps Adele answers your question in it.

So her first tour as a main act was in October 2007, the earliest date I've found is 2007-10-06 - at Hamptons, Southampton, UK.

The recording from Soho... I'm not anymore sure about date. Seems that it could be 2007-11-19, not 2007-09-19 (possibly even another, later concert from Soho), in which case Birmingham recording would be earlier. I will still have eyes open looking for a confirmation.
