LONDON — The London Olympics closing ceremony on Sunday will be a "beautiful, cheeky, cheesy, camp, silly and thrilling" journey through British pop history, its musical director promised.
David Arnold, composer of five James Bond scores, told the Daily Telegraph that predictions Paul McCartney and Adele would perform were "scarily accurate", but would not confirm growing rumours that reclusive singer Kate Bush would appear.

Sigh. They're gonna just string us along aren't they?

According to Norfolk on ukmix SLY will be performed, but it's not said that by Adele. He does not give any source to this information...

In my hunt for pregnant photo pictures source, I ran across this article in Telegraph. Arnold list different performers including Adele doing SLY. But at the end of the paragraph he states he just was "guessing". He does mention Norfolk in his article so you are probably right about source.

It's like the Opening ceremony all over again. Rumours, speculations, no confirmation.
I would doubt she would perform in normal conditions, meaning not being pregnant, but with that big baby bump, there's basically no chance!
Also, she would have tweeted/blogged about it if she'd perform.

I agree, but on the other hand the buzz about the "from Elgar till Adele" spectacle would be VERY misleading if she will not be featured in the ceremony. If not in person (we can't demand this, can we? Well, we can't demand anything really...) then by her music.

Perez Hilton seems to be very excited at the rumors that she might appear, and highly pregnant at that... Adele pregnant, not Perez Hilton. He wrote a funny text on his blog. But yeah, I don't really believe she will perform, but I do hope they will perform some of her music.

And Adele could do us a favor, sing along with Spice Girls while watching them on her telly, record this karaoke style performance, and release a special edition "for fans only". ;)

Ha! I read this article last night. What does Perez know? He just picked up what other people said. He knows nothing. The article doesn't say she will perform, it just says it will be great if she would.
