MY olympics... Well, I had a great chance of winning the marathon, except for the fact that I didn't start... ;)
Otherwise neither Poland nor Sweden did great. A positive surprise was the Swedish male handball team getting silver, losing with just one point to France in the final. They did great. One unexpected gold in weight lifting for Poland. But also some who were expected to do well, didn't.
Btw., perhaps some of you don't know that the London olympics were the first during which all nations had both genders represented. The last 3 countries which resisted female representations so far were Brunei, Quatar and Saudi Arabia, but this year each country had at least one female representative.
If someone is interested, here is an article on historical and potential positive social impact of Olympics in some regions:http://www.aljazeera.com/indepth/opinion/2012/08/201281274234785452.html
