hi Georgina,

Thanks for your post. I sipped each word.

OMG, sometimes some horrible people turns up out of the blue uninvited. Crazy.

ADELE, SWEET HEART, i LOVE YOU THE WAY YOU WAS, THE WAY YOU ARE, THE WAY YOU'LL BE.
I'm so happy you're happy with your man and your baby! I am so happy that you stay true to your convictions and values pre-fame.
I'll never understand how someone as beautiful as you, inside and out, sometimes attracts fans so ugly inside lol.
Fortunately, they are minority, a tiny dot, though very noisy.

As much as I am aware that a few celebrities out there want to have a somewhat ordinary life, I don't really support the 'disappearing into the mist' scenario. By saying this, I don't believe Adele will disappear; I'm just mentioning it here since a lot of people are disappointed.

Music industry is tough and it is probably one of the most (if not THE most) unrealistic career(s) to pursue. All odds are against you in this business. Whether your dream is going to come true or not depends mostly on the person sitting behind Sony's (or Warner's) desk and jamming (or crying) to a tune you wrote. Also, if they see a 16-year old big-butt girl on an island and think they have talent, they will sign her. It doesn't matter that a 10,000 really talented people are screaming atop of their lungs on Youtube trying to show off their soul through an Etta James classic.

Once you get to be in this business, and realize that you are truly successful, you should appreciate it and never forget how you got to the top. Not that Adele struggled too much, or even wanted to be THIS famous, but I think she should and probably does appreciate it.

I only hope that she doesn't turn into a British Lauryn Hill and never releases another record.

Oh my actual god can't believe people would turn on adele for not performing when she is heavily pregnant, if she had a normal job she would be on maternity leave resting, there are so many complications that go with pregnancy all of which stress affect we all know she gets stage fright maybe she's been advised by a doctor not to perform!

People should always look at the bigger picture I'm sure she didn't just think 'oh I can't be arsd I'll give it a miss and go to Lauras' she clearly tweeted saying she wished she was there, also she was laughing at the woman for been off her head not for been 60 she was just making a point that the concert was crazy! I don't think she'll lose sleep over losing the odd fan deciding not to follow her when she has so many who appreciate her and are happy for her, we just need to be patient and wait for new music and if it doesn't come just be grateful for the beautiful music she has already given us and be happy that she's happy she does deserve it!

Lastly having to grow up with a parent who is an alcoholic is awful and cones with a lot of feelings and situations that other people wouldn't understand, so please don't pass judgement when the 1 person who should be there for you let's you down and puts drink before you it's hard to at the least have a relationship with them when they do it repeatedly you sometimes have to make the choice to distance your self from that person so that they can't let you down or hurt u again! And if they let you down the last thing you would do is put your child in that situation, no one knows what has gone on but speaking from experience it's very hard to have a relationship with a father who is a drunk.
Be brave and fearless to know that even if you do make a wrong decision, you made it for a good reason.Image

I know exactly how it feels, it's always bad when people judge you for not wanting to be around that person, or not helping them, sometimes they just can't be helped, and/or they don't want to be. I completely understand why Adele wouldn't want to have a relationship with her father, it always feels horrible especially as a kid to know that 1 person who should always be there for you would choose drinking over you, and you can't do anything about it. If it wasn't for my mother, I would have no relationship with my father, and I don't want one.

Adele has given of herself and her time to the world for several years now. She has personally sacrificed a lot in order to please the masses with her incredible talent. I think it's safe to say, that now is 'her time' to be a bit selfish and live her life in the manner that she wants to. Let's face it, that poor kid was worked like a machine during the 21 Tour. So many dates in a row with very little time off in between performances. I don't care how young you are...that kind of schedule would make anyone tired. Plus, we all must remember that she had to have throat surgery and how frightening that must of been for her. Even for a regular person that must have been a scary event. But take in consideration that she is a professional singer and the mere thought of having that type of surgery must have worried her so. Thank God she is alright after all that and is taking a long, well deserved break from all the pressure. I think sometimes we all forget that Adele is a 'real person'... same as you and me...and should be allowed to live as normal of a life as she possibly can. I thought it was so cool that she decided to hang out with Laura and do something as normal as having pizza with a friend as they watched the Closing Ceremonies of the Olympic's together. I couldn't imagine her being a part of that huge production whether she was pregnant or not. It's simply not her style. I trust that we won't hear much out of Adele as she begins this new chapter in her young life and I wish her nothing but the best as she turns the page. However, she will return again someday. At least I hope she will. If not, we have two albums and a DVD to treasure forever. God Blessings always to our Adele and much Peace to her as well. xo

@hd28picker
I guess you just gave us your free prose take on Bon Jovis "Shot through the heart and you're to blame" with dedication to Adele. ;)

I hope I didn't offend you...
