I'm pretty sure she's not Jewish. In this interview she says her mom got her a bike for Christmas...

Religion is something many consider private. I've never heard her talk about it, maybe because it just never was relevant during interviews or because to her that's private.
I'M SO PROUD OF YOU ADELE!

Adkins is definitely an old English Christian surname, arguably Catholic. It has its roots in the Hebrew Ade (from Bible's Adam) and Olde English diminutive suffix '-kin' [the additional 's' being added due to dialect influences].

The first recorded Adkins was George, the son of George and Susanna, baptized in 1657.

The family is one of the oldest in England, and it even has its coat of arms:

No matter what Adele feels like today, her roots are Catholic. :)

Its been a while since I've become a daydreamer, and I'm still ignorant to Delly's religion,I don't even question myself before because it doesn't came up to my mind.

Genealogy is a tricky search. I found an Adkins that goes back before the Norman Conquest(1066). Her father was from Wales. If you wanted to do her line you could join Ancestry. com among one of the many search sites. What a great gift that would be for her if you did her line. I think you would have enough information with her grand-parents to start her line. Depending which side you want to research. As far as her religion, remember the Church of England and the Reformation. So she may be Protestant. You seem interest in this subject and I know I just bored the shit out of everyone else. ;)

She is likely Christian, according to this article below:
http://hollowverse.com/adele/
This article states that she wears a cross around her neck at almost all of her concerts:
http://thethingaboutflying.com/2012/05/13/desperate-programming-team-changes-adele-lyrics-to-rolling-in-gods-word/
She has also used the word "God" (referring to God that Christians believe in) in some of her songs...
"One and Only" - 'God only knows why it's taken me so long to let my doubts go...'
"Turning Tables" - 'God only knows what we're fighting for...'
"God Put a Smile Upon Your Face" (w/ Mark Ronson) - The song's title? This one's kinda obvious.
As far as I know, she is Christian. The only thing that would lead me to believe otherwise is that she is having a child out of wedlock (although rumors have spread that she and Simon are secretly married), which is considered a sin in Christianity; her mother did give birth to her out of wedlock, though, and considering that she didn't have a lot of significant role models in her life growing up (due to the situation with her father, especially), it may have been a matter of wanting to be like her mother and her mother's choice to give birth to her out of wedlock may have influenced this.

Personally I could give a flying fuck about what religion she is. Or if she believes in painting her body blue and bays at the moon every other Sunday. However, if someone makes a comment on an area I have some knowledge of (history and genealogy) I would offer my two cents. Where is the over the edge ? I didn't know it was a off topic subject. I pefer the crispy tissue site. God love you Bennie " is it something you put in your mouth and eat?" Got off topic again. So just tell me without being too harsh.
