I think because you have Thanksgiving, you have Black Friday; a day after. In UK, we don't have Thanksgiving, so we have Boxing Day after Christmas so we can make fact because we don't have Thanksgiving, we have Boxing Day instead. Am I making sense?

Thanksgiving in Canada is a fixed holiday and is always on the second Monday in October.Yes we have Boxing day here,day after Christmas and it's always nuts.

Canada is getting in on the "Black Friday" shopping frenzy.Retailers such as WalMart,Best Buy,and Future Shop to name a few have been advertising all week.Walmart issued a special 3 day Black Friday flyer and opened at 7am.

Oh gosh... Walmart is the worst store to shop at in the US on Black Friday because of Hazard issues in my opinion. So many sad stories of people getting trampled and even babies getting lost! I don't go near Walmart..

Hi, here in Manila, we dont celebrate Boxing Day nor Black Friday. Thanksgiving is an optional holiday. Only teenagers have started celebrating Black Friday and only God knows why. I think it has something to do with that ad from that shop called Forever 21, which at first, I thought has something to do with Delly.
