I think facebook is the place to be during the Brits...

You can't expect guests not to go to the forum I guess. the only thing we can hope is that the admins are doing something so we can all share our thought here during the Brits...

When the Grammys started, I couldn't get on this forum for the whole show, a lot of you probably couldn't, too. Obviously is was because so many people were coming here. This will probably happen again at the Brits, so I was wondering...

If the people who actually have an account and come to post were the only one's here it would't crash.
This is going to sound harsh, but I really don't mean it in a hostile way- Could we have a topic that asks guests to not come on at the time of the Brits? That sounds sooo cruel, I know.

It actually crashed after she walked the red carpet. I guess that when people saw how awesome she looked they decided to come to the forum. I agree that FB is the place to be during the Brits. I will be celebrating Pancake's night though (yay, i know!!!! But my landlord is organising it and I cannot get away! Will watch it on the big screen though! And will come to comment as soon as we are done with pancakes.)

Sorry, American here who's never watched the Brits before. I have a couple questions - How come Adele is only nominated for 3 Brits? Does the Brits not have as many categories or something like the Grammys? And is the Brits not determined by industry like the Grammys? If its fan voted, then that's the only way I can see Adele losing to someone like One Direction (for real????)

The public are voting for British Single, which Adele is nominated for. The rest are down to the industry.

I gave up on the forum last night as well. My laptop sux (which I think I've mentioned several times, already!). I couldn't get on and trying to keep all the windows open was an epic fail, FACEPALM! SO I decided to try to stay focused on twitter. Even though it was slow (20 new tweets a minute) I was able to communicate with some of the forum folks. I don't like to use Facebook much, as I keep it mostly for family stuff.
Good news is, Brit Awards for us, is live in the middle of the day, so, no all nighters needed!
As it gets closer, I'm sure someone will post a live feed link so we can watch it. Very exciting month for our goddess! Another sweep would be EPIC!

We simply cannot control the things that happen with the forum. I was expecting it to crash, from previous experiences.
So yeah, FB or twitter for daydreamers to bond in those times.
