Bond films are crap and Adele would have absolutely no reason to do a song for one of them. If she does I'm sure it will be amazing, but you must agree it is something that doesn't quite match with her music/career choices so far. I find the idea outrageous but maybe challenging enough for Adele to attempt it (and smash it!). I believe that she would benefit more by sticking to her guns, rather than wasting her time with Bond. James Bond.

If she does decide to do a Bond theme, I would prefer if she writes it herself. Thomas Newman was, however, already confirmed as the main composer. This means he will most probably compose the main theme song as well. Not even Alicia Keys got to write [any part of] the song she performed.

I've heard whatever new song she did, she wrote it.
I think its Bond. Paul McCartney and his wife at the time wrote Live and Let Die. Duran Duran wrote A View To A Kill with John Berry. I'm still holding out for Bond. I think she wrote it with Paul Epworth.

And here is Shirley Bassey's Diamonds Are Forever that Adele was singing on RAH. This jazz style would be right in Adele's wheel house. She could get all smoky and sultry. Oh hell yes I want her to do the Bond theme. It is not cheesy to do Bond, it's a national honor. Lol.

The first trailer for Skyfall will be released next month, shown in theaters before the new Men In Black movie. Would it be too much to ask for a few lines from the theme song to be playing? With lead vocals front and center?! Please!!! It would generate a lot of buzz for the movie if it is her and they played a small piece of it.

I just watched back the Johnathan Ross show and she mentioned that'd she be going back into the studio in November to do a theme. This pretty much confirms it for me. I've never been into Bond, but I'll be seeing it in theaters now! hehehee :))

I think it would be James Bond; it wouldn't be about her 3rd album, for 2 reasons, wheres the chance Adele will release a single 2 years before album is due, and normally a single is out a year before album is due. Look when RITD came out, i came out in Novemeber, 2 months before 21 was due out. Look at 19, HG came out October 2007, 3 months before 19 came out. What is the chances Adele will release a single, and album comes in 2013? I believe it will come out 2014 at least, with a single late next year

People keep forgetting that she actually said 2 years in between 21 and the next album, NOT 2 years from now. Two years have passed between her first two albums as well, so it's not really a big deal. Besides her private life, she needs time to write good music.

I don´t like 007 so much: But when Adele will sing the song I would go to the cinema only to hear her singing it (I did it with Garbage too). Btw I really like the "Skyfall"-pic.
