I wanted to thank you for bringing music back into my life. I had stopped investigating new young artists in the early 90's. Didn't listen to the radio except for the classic rock stations. I was dependent upon my old favorites. I didn't discover you until RITD was released here in the States. Bed ridden with a serious lung infection I was flipping thru the channels and happened upon the video and I was instantly taken by the visuals and your voice. Who was this beatiful young woman riding those major and minor chords with such ease and power? And my goodness the range of octives. Then I saw you on the Chelsea Lately show and I was smitten. I started watching VH1 to chart your rise to the top and in the process I discovered other young, talented artists. This also led to my discovery of Daryl Halls web show and lesser known young artists crossing soul/blues genre into the new musical culture.

So thank you again for bringing this old lady into the light.
