Trying to donate to drop4drop

I am not understanding why it is so hard for me to donate to this charity. I ended up getting a Visa debit money card, put money on it and then tried to use it, but no luck. If I try and donate $10.....I guess the money is different in the UK then it is here in the states so I get charged $16 and my card gets refused :o( I fiqure it is easier for me to write a check, but for some odd reason, I can't find the address for drop4drop.

Any help would be great right now.

Also, is there any way I can know when someone responds to my posts? I thought I checked that in my preferences.

Hi, Debbie, when you have to put your amount you're donating, that number is in pounds.
Thats why, when you put 10 there, they charge you 16 dollars, because those 10 are pounds and converted to dollars, they are the equivalent of 16 dollars.

If you want to donate 10 dollars, the equivalent of that is a little over 6 pounds, so when you donate, put 6 there.

Thanks for the info :o) I work in retail and I ended up asking someone who was from London which I am fascinated by the accent so I was asking him all kinds of questions. I told him that I was a big of Adele's and he started laughing!
