Adele was completely adorable as usual - but I thought a bit more reserved this time around than in other interviews. Maybe because Matt Lauer really wasn't all that engaging himself. In fact, he was horrid - a typical talking head. The 60 minutes interview with Andersen Cooper was SO MUCH better - so much more of the real Delly in that one! Having watched the RAH DVD until its wearing thin, I did miss the in between song chatter in this spot which really shows her personality so much more. Understandably they'd have to bleep out the swears every few minutes but still! And Matt Lauer got all parental when he was asking her about the juxtaposition between her lovely singing and her swearing - shut it Matt - that's part of what makes her so endearing and down to earth - we love you Delly - cheeky and swearing and all - so don't cave to that cr*p !

Didn't see the interview (yet) but I'm judging by the fact that someone on twitter wanted to drop a cow on Matt Lauer and/or NBC....um....er....it didn't go to well??

Let's just say that a corpse could have done a perkier job.

I didn't really mind Matt Lauer...but then again Anderson Cooper undoubtedly did a way better interview.

Adelle was great in the interview a bit reserved, miss her laugh and I love to see it a little more outgoing as she is, but that Matt did not give him for that, was headed toward her worst serious anyway ... I just like to see on screen delly again, I miss you ......... do not know if you know adele but muchismos fans in Latin America! we adore you! Image

I'm waiting for someone as funny and filthy as Adele to interview her--Alan Carr would do if he weren't also her close friend--but no luck this time. Snore on, Daydreamers.

I was a little disappointed in interview as well. It was too formal so to speak. There were parts of the interview that were shown in the initial introduction of the special that weren't shown tonight and then there were a few other new questions. I hope that Adele will not become so private in her future interviews because when she is opened that is what connects ourselves to her because we can relate to her experiences and that is what makes her seem so normal and real. I would have almost rather had an all interview, than a mix of music and questions. I love when Adele talks and because I have the DVD and her music, that would have been my preference. Of course those who have not seen the RAH DVD yet probably got a small tasting of Adele and hopefully they will go buy the RAH DVD and/or her music or both. After that, there will probably be a whole slew of new fans, Daydreamers, etc. Regardless, it was great to see her in a new interview. Adele you are divine like fine wine!
