This is a place to talk about everything Adele.

I agree, they are great together in front of the camera. It is a barrel of laughs. She is truly herself when she is around her mates. Although I much preferred the Anderson Cooper interview over this one with Matt, this could have been so much better if Matt had maybe watched a few of her other interviews posted on YT to really get a sense of the real Adele.

I agree. I think he was under the illusion that people tuned in to hear him come up with what he thought was witty things to say. When, in fact, there could have been a rock in the chair instead of him and there would have been more of what we tuned in to see - Adele talking.

What witty things? Were we watching the same interview? He looked shrunken and half-conscious and said almost nothing. He gave Adele nothing to work with.

That's what I meant - he THOUGHT was witty, but actually wasn't even close.

Ah. Thanks for clarifying. I don't want to be a shit to him, but in this desert of Adele appearances, I was looking forward to some witty banter or a new story or two. No such luck.

Agreed, Lauer's a stiff. She seemed much more engaged in all of the Anderson Cooper footage, including the segments that weren't part of the interview that aired. He should stick to interviewing other stiffs, like politicians.

Watching the interview Matt was very boring. If they had taped the interview at RAH, they should have at least walked around the majestic arena. The Anderson Cooper interview they walked and talked. Should there every be another interview wi Adele, Adele's people should request limited commercial breaks.

I appreciate that there are probably thousands of people who watched that and saw adele behind the songs for the first time, but really Laurer obviously doesnt know his stuff very well! I genuinely believe that one of us would do such a better job at interviewing because we could ask interesting questions that she hasn't been asked before! Laurer clearly thought he was asking hard hitting questions but basically delve into any new topics. I would have liked him to fill in the gaps from 60 mins and ask about the glorious things that have happened since, they barely touched on the Grammys and Brits! It's frustrating because now we aren't going to get another interview until, fingers crossed, sky fall.

Seriously, they get an interview with the best singer in the world, when she already said she wont be in the public eye until later this year, and they ask those stupid questions, that EVERYONE already knows???? They even said it's the most revealing interview of Adele hahaha

I AGREE, ANYONE OF US COULD HAVE MADE A BETTER JOB!

ELLEN NEEDS TO INTERVIEW ADELE.

I agree, this was a bit boring. Way to much commercial breaks!
I only smiled when she said she read some lovely messages from her fans while she was sick.
And the line "Your heart mends when you learn to love again"
The rest was nothing new. I thought there was a big announcement to reveal, I'm a bit disappointed.

I'm voting for another Graham Norton or Alan Carr interview! HILARIOUS!
