Adele-stay true to yourself

This is a place to talk about everything Adele.

Adele-stay true to yourself

Postby Midranger4 » Sat Jun 02, 2012 7:24 pm

I realize the chances of this thought actually being read by Adele are very low however....

Adele,

Your music has touched the hearts of millions. The reason it has is because there is no denying the meaning and sincerity in your lyrics.

I believe however the larger catalyst to be your delivery of the music. Seldom does someone come along that bears their very soul for all to see. I not only relate to the messages in your music but watching you perform your songs is moving beyond words. I thank you for renewing my faith in what love truly is, how it is not fleeting or disposable like so manyw things in our societies today.

While you have found unrivaled success with your music, and rightly so I hope you find the kind of happiness only you know to be what your heart and soul yearn for since the moment you surrendered both to the trust of another.

You are now part of the machine through no choice of your own. Do not let it mold you into something you are not. Your ability to touch us all is born from your undeniable sincerity, humbleness, and ability to open your very soul to all of us.

Your voice is that of an angel and you truly confirm the adage that the eyes are the window to the soul.

All the best to you and yours and thank you for renewing my belief in true romance.

Hope that Adele does see this...You managed to convey the thoughts of many with what you have written. Peace...Dee

Inspiring words.
"You know how singers like ADELE need to keep their name out there... except, come to think of it, there are very few singers like ADELE out there, huh.

I have always sought solace in music during the most difficult periods in my life.  I do not find it to be coincidence that Adele's music found me on this occasion.  I heard the song "Why don't you remember" minutes after feeling forgotten myself and was moved to tears as I listened to this kindred soul sing the very words my own heart would speak if able.

Since that time I, like millions of others, became spellbound by Adele and her music.  Each new song I heard I likened to a different chapter in my own heart's journey.  As powerful as her music is however it pales in comparison to what I saw as she performed at the Royal Albert Hall.  Those in attendance were provided a gift that without even being there I guarantee they will cherish forever.  If I had to choose one word to summarize that concert I could easily say magnificent, inspiring, or any number of other superlatives but I wouldn't because the word I would use is spiritual.

An artist strives to connect with their audience.  Adele connects without trying for no other reason than she is not acting.  My heart goes out to her because I, and many others, know all too well the abyss that moved her to express herself in music.

Adele has found her release in music and we have found our champion in her.

You said exactly what I've always wanted to say. Just couldn't express it as great as that.
